Genealogy

This part of the homepage is meant as platform to exchange genealogical data and as basis for further ancestor research.

I hope, that the data made available here, lead to the fact that many further relatives are found here in Germany and/or abroad. Therby we specialy think of the collateral lines not investigated so far yet, so that this volume of data continues to increase and offers a still broader basis for family research.

Here is a list of all surnames (alphabetically sorted), which we brought in connection with the four main families so far.

Over the "Ancestors Data Bases " all genealogical data - more or less detailed - are available to all well-known close and far relatives.

Sources
As basis for this ancestor data bases different sources served us.
Everything began with the chronicle of the family RINGE, which I received from my uncle Klaus Ringe in 1981. Therein many data lead to my Ringe ancestors back into the years around 1650. It is to be owed to my great-great-grandfather George Julius RINGE that so much information and data about our RINGE ancestors is available so far, since he wrote the first draft of the family chronicle.
This first draft was later continued and supplemented by his grandchild Ernst Julius RINGE. Unfortunately both versions of the chronicle end with the children of George Julius RINGE.

Outgoing from there I used all available sources of information to close the gap up to the generation of my grandfather. Here I would like to thank Mr. H.-J. HINNERS for the great help he gave me with his profound genealogical experience, his research and for his never ending sources, that offered me the oportunity to trace my RINGE and other ancestors (in Lower Saxony) much more into detail than I ever expected.
